Share a day of discussion, yoga, and art with women of your community. This year’s annual retreat will take place in the lovely Los Barrancos home of one of our members, Saturday, October 8, 2011.

• Explore ideas from “For the Next Seven Generations,” a film about an international group of grandmothers, who spread blessings and care for the earth as they gently work for justice in our world. Join the discussion, which will include personal insights from wise women in our midst.
• The day will also include Tibetan Heart Yoga with Dorothy Rafferty and a walking meditation as you wind your way through lush garden paths.
• Later in the afternoon, create your own medicine bag, embellished with paints and beads.

Bring a photo of a wise woman from your life or a writing that you find inspirational. Dress casual, in layers, as it may be cool. Continental breakfast and lunch provided (vegan friendly). $25 donation for meals and materials. RSVP the church office by Sunday, October 2, 831-688-4033.
